- Photo: Authentic photograph. Standard image editing such as exposure, contrast, noise reduction, or cropping is possible, including with AI assistance in a purely supportive function. The photographic substance is unchanged.
- AI-edited: Image based on an actual photographic reference, but substantially altered or extended with generative AI. This category also covers brand-consistent graphics and diagrams created with AI support.
- AI-generated: AI visualization, mostly or entirely created with generative AI. Such images depict scenes or people in portrayed situations that did not actually occur.
Photographs of People
Photographs of people on this website show only real persons with their consent. Where such photographs have been edited or re-visualized with AI assistance, they are labeled accordingly (AI-edited). No person is depicted in a fictional situation without clear labeling.
